Product Description:

MOUNTING PANELS AND BLOCKS GENIUS GUN is a ready-to-use self-expanding one-component polyurethane adhesive for clean, efficient and economical permanent bonding of insulation panels and plasterboard in building and construction.

Storage:

12 months from the date of manufacture in closed packages with cool storage (from + 5ºC to + 25ºC) and dry. The cylinders should be stored upright to avoid blockage of the spray valve. Once opened, keep the container tightly closed and use within a short time.

Surfaces:

All usual surfaces such as concrete, masonry, stone, gypsum, wood, thick cold bituminous coatings, bituminous sheets with sand or slate surface, polystyrene, polyurethane foam and phenolic resin, anti-corrosion steel sheets, fiber cement, gaseous concrete, particle board, drywall, fiber cement plasterboard, hard PVC and

emulsion paints.

Adhesive surfaces must be stable, clean, bubble-free and free of separating agents such as talc, grease, oils, etc. Suitable for subfloors of damp buildings, but not wet (water film, standing water). Any cement grouts and sintered layers on mineral substrates must be removed mechanically. Bubbles in the bituminous sheath must be removed.

To ensure perfect adhesion, the bituminous sheath must have a completely covered surface. It does not adhere to PE, PP. PTFE and silicone. All substrates should be tested for suitability with regard to adhesion and compatibility.

Instructions for use:

General

Before using the product, cover all adjacent areas to protect it from dirt. In windy weather, precautions must be taken to ensure that

MOUNTING PANELS AND BLOCKS GENIUS GUN cannot contaminate components, objects or people nearby.

Good ventilation must be ensured for indoor use. Wear goggles and protective gloves.

Shake the aerosol can for at least 20 seconds.

Open the lid and bend the tube horizontally

After long periods of inactivity, the can must be shaken again to obtain the required adhesive quality! Adjust the adhesive bead to the required diameter by pushing the strongest or softest ingenious gun. (The emptier the jar, the more force should be set.) The can should be kept upright during application.

A distance of 1-2 cm between the nozzle and the insulating panel/support should be maintained during spraying. Apply pressure to the insulation panel within about 8 minutes (20°C-65% R.H. - this time is shorter at higher temperature/humidity and longer at lower temperature/humidity). Do not tap or remove and reapply the panels as this will damage the adhesive structure and substantially reduce the adhesive strength. Especially at high temperatures and low humidity, curing can be accelerated by lightly spraying the adhesive cord with water.

When finished, wait about 1 minute until the foam stops dripping. Detach the butterfly cap from the cap and screw it over the red adapter. Fix the cap in place to lock the trigger.

Reuse instructions: Before using it again, unscrew the red adapter from the tip of the straw. Keep the can straight, point the straw into a plastic bag and shoot the contents of the straw inside. You may need one or two triggers to remove all the contents of the straw. Screw the adapter back into the straw. Then unscrew the red T-cap from the red adapter at the end of the straw to start working.
